About
A small collection began with a simple question: how might a digital object feel more at home in an analog life?
I became a Kindle reader many years ago, and since then I've been looking for a case that made the device feel a little more like the books I love.
Earlier this year, while wandering through the galleries at a local art museum on a Saturday afternoon, I had the idea to design a limited series of cases that would feel like a small piece of art.
Something you might find in a museum gift shop or that would remind you of beautiful bookplates or bookcloth in old, dusty bookstores.
We don't always put beauty first in our objects these days, and this collection is a small attempt to mimic that spirit.
Each design in this collection draws from archival textiles, book ephemera, and the natural world. The designs are produced in small batches and created to feel like they belong alongside the books you return to again and again.
This collection exists alongside my writing at Literary Leanings and my quiet corner on Instagram.
Thank you for being here.
